This Gibbon lives throughout all of Borneo's rainforests expect for the southwest.

These Gibbons eat fruit, insects and immature leaves.
threats
The Bornean Gibbon is classified as endangered for many reasons. Its population has declined by 50%! Their are only 250,000-375,000 left and their population is still declining. Their threats is habitat destruction for Palm Oil and more, becoming pets (this is illegal), body parts being sold as Chinese medicine and hunting for meat.

There are many nature reserves in its range.

- Have a Palm Oil free diet.
- Send letters to the government about stopping Palm oil, selling body parts and stop hunting them.
- Don't buy their body parts.
- Don't get them as pets.
- Don't buy their meat.
- Spread the message.
